eGalax Mac driver issues

Dave Bhattacharjee
Mac OS

A number of customers have contacted us because their eGalax driver stopped working after a Mac OS upgrade.

In this case you can always see if a later eGalax driver is available from here.

If you are still having difficulty and would like to try our driver it is important that the eGalax driver is uninstalled.

We had a customer install updd driver with eGalax still installed and the eGalax driver caused a repetitive kernel panic such that the Mac system needed booting in safe mode and the eGalax driver removed manually as per these instructions (that we found on the web).

Note - The delete /System/Library/Extensions/CUSBInterfce.kext should be delete /System/Library/Extensions/CUSBInterface.kext.
