Touch-Base Support

No touch after resume from sleep

This has mainly been reported on Mac systems but could potentially happen on any OS.

Without fully understanding why the device stops sending out data after a resume from sleep we discovered that if the driver reinitialised the device then touch resumed.

To cater for this to happen automatically after a wake sequence we added a device setting called power.stop_after_wake. If set the driver will restart on resume from sleep and reinitialise all connected touch devices.

This can be set in the UPDD Console, Advanced, Settings or with the command line 'upddutils set power.stop_after_wake 1'.

Alternatively, a lower level sleep state may leave the device powered up and thus not impact the device during sleep/wake sequence.

This setting is set by default for the following devices:

G-Story, GS156FT, USB

MageDok, T156C, USB

WIMAXIT, M1560CT2 ultra slim 15.6, USB

Desklab, Portable Monitor, USB

Vissles-M, 15.6-inch Touch Monitor, USB

SZi Board Electronics, IBoard, USB
