Welcome to the UPDD documentation for version V6 and V7.
UPDD V6 touch driver is available for Windows XP thru 11, MacOS 10.7 and above, many Linux distributions and Android.
UPDD V7 touch driver is available for Windows XP, Win 7 32 and 64 bit, 10/11 64 bit, macOS 10.14 and above and various Linux distributions.
At the user interface level there is little difference between UPDD V6 & V7. However, there are some significant technical changes as described
here
The
Drivers section covers installation and usage of the drivers and describes the driver’s utilities and features.
Programmers can see how to interact with the driver in the
Application Programming Interface section that contains
a number of example programs.
For those using TUIO Client applications to receive touch data the
TUIO Server section describes our implementation
of the TUIO protocol.
If you should experience problems with the driver or hardware please refer to the
Troubleshooting section for further
assistance. This section also describes information we may require to aid investigation.
