By default UPDD Linux software is installed to /opt/updd.
However, if required, from build 417 it can be installed at an alternate location.
To achieve this the following manual steps must be followed:
- After extracting the installer package, edit the $install_folder setting. Change the /opt/updd entry to the location of choice.
- After executing install edit updd.sh, upddenv and updd_clients.desktop in the new location changing all occurrences of /opt/updd to the new location.
- A reboot is required after these changes for the software to work correctly.
With release 417, all UPDD Linux modules now use the environment variable UPDDDIR which must be set to the install folder location before running any UPDD module.
