With previous versions of UPDD driver we have implied the minimum service pack level for XP should be SP3 albeit in most cases SP2 was OK.

With UPDD V6 it has been reported that this error is seen during install and when running any UPDD utilities:

“The procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation could not be located Kernel32.dll”

This link suggests that there might be a solution to this issue by using a patched msvcr120.dll file:

We have not personally tried this as we document that SP2 is not supported but a customer has reported this worked for them and allowed UPDD v6 to install and work with XP SP2.
