Press Gesture

A press event will revert to a drag event if the stylus moves beyond a number of pixels as defined in the 'pixel threshold' setting in the Drag and Swipes dialog

You can enable a press gesture visual feedback to indicate the press operation is being performed and the point at which the click is activated. If this is enabled the countdown to the click is represented by the drawing of a blue circle and the click is performed at the point the circle is drawn complete. The circle drawing speed is dictated by the click time period, which is defaulted to 1000ms.

The press visual feedback is set by default in the Tabs and Presses tab.

When the stylus is held steady the circle is draw as shown and the click performed when the circle is complete

A hidden Windows is created by gestures in which to draw the visual feedback. Since Gestures 2.1.3 this Window is destroyed when this is disabled rather than just hidden.
